Apple the best?
Android and iOS (an acronym for iPhone operating system), mobiles are majorly based on these two
operating systems. Android, though being in the majority of phones, iOS is considered to have a
more polished and user friendly interface.
Apple is like the trendsetter in the Smartphone industry, for example Apple took out the headphone
jack in their iPhone 7 lineup, and slowly all other major companies started following it. Once again
we see that when with the introduction of the iPhone X lineup notched displays started becoming
popular, (and Apple has this habit of taking the leap and sort of put a platform for other companies),
other companies started taking ideas from them. Now we see that the iPhone12 pro max, Apple’s
best flagship outperforms any other phone in terms of benchmark scores and it is the best
Smartphone to edit raw images the fastest, and iPhones have the best privacy protection.
These days privacy has become one of the most important concerns regarding Smartphones. Apple
has stepped up its game and iOS is the most safe phone in terms of privacy. iPhones are also one of
the best camera phones having the most consistent shots taken by any phone. Although the iPhones
are more on the expensive side, the purchase should be worth it because each iPhone gets promised
software updates as Apple has this policy of giving mainstream updates to older phones for quite
some time. On an average an iPhone user can use his iPhone for 4 years because all the phones get
the same software updates to make the old devices feel fresh and new.
Another thing is Apple’s eco system. It has probably the most polished and smooth ecosystem. Apple
makes the small things polished which may not sound that important but can help a lot in real life
for example their universal clipboard in which if you have a MacBook connected with your iPhone
and if you copy anything on your iPhone it automatically copies it on your MacBook as well and vice
versa. The take photo option is also very useful in which if the iPhone is connected to your MacBook
then if you want to put a photo of something in front of you on your MacBook you can use the
iPhone’s camera to take the photo and attach it to your MacBook. Apple polishes small things which
make the user feel this seamless experience.
To sum this all up Apple may or may not be the best but in terms of software and user friendliness it
is in a league of its own.
