JAMWA RAMGARH WILDLIFE
Jamwa Ramgarh Wildlife is nestled along the Aravalli hill range, close to the Ramgarh village in the
state of Rajasthan. The sanctuary is located about 35 km away from the Jaipur city. It was declared a
wildlife sanctuary in the year 1982.

How To reach
The closest airport and railway station to Jamwa Ramgarh Wildlife is at Jaipur. From Jaipur the
tourists can easily hire buses, taxis or auto rickshaws to reach the sanctuary. Sindhi Camp Bus Stand
is the nearest bus terminal.
Tourist Information
Different budget hotels, resorts and guest houses are available near the sanctuary for
accommodation. The best way to explore the sanctuary is by a jeep or gypsy. There are many
recreational activities for tourists inside the sanctuary. Safari rides, bird spotting, photography and
nature trail are some of them. Visitors can hire vehicles from outside for safari rides, provided the
vehicles are not more than five years old. Entering or driving inside the reserve after dusk is
prohibited. Guides for excursion to the forest can be hired from the forest office itself.
The best place to spot the inland and migratory birds is near the artificial lake of the sanctuary.
Abhaneri Step Well, Panna Meena ka Kund, Elefantastic, etc are some of the famous tourist spots
near the sanctuary that the visitors can visit. For any queries or arrangement the visitors can contact
